Febuary 2011 Wishlist
I'm sorry that it has been a while since I last posted. I have been away in Queensland and I am currently in Melbourne visiting family, before I go back to my Vintage city, Adelaide. So I thought I would give you my current wish list, as I haven't been able to take very many outfit photos yet... but I will definitely get onto them when I'm home, just bear with me a little longer :)
I have become recently become obsessed with Disney Couture, especially by Kiadia. Her detailed and beautifully crafted designs allow my childish dreams come to life. I also love the vintage look and designs at the moment. Especially the floral patterns, and pretty pastel colours and couture. The asos dresses demonstrate this unique qualities really beautifully, as well as playsuit. Oh and of course my last obsession, is with birds. Owls in particular, but anything with birds, or just animistic jewellery. Sorry I have not given you an out fit post yet, but I'm definitely working on it! I have been super busy, so the next spear moment I have, I will definitely dedicate it to my first outfit post, which I wore to my Birthday dinner! Please stay tuned to see. Because fashion is not just for skinny people, curvy and fabulously fat people should be embraced and photographed just the same. HaRd TiMeS and InSpIrAtIoNs
It is on days that you wake up feeling depressed about the way you look, you try and find some inspiration and motivation to make your self believe you are beautiful too. A lot of my inspirations come from my mum, who although should be in a wheel chair, (as she has multiple schlorsis), she continues to battle and keep strong everyday through all her pains. I think to myself, on a bad day, that yea I know I'm fat but at least I'm not in pain every second of the day. I know it kind of sounds "clique", but she helps me in many aspects, of life and is always there for me.
But I have another inspiration, more probably fashion related. When I first discovered the beautiful Audrey Hepburn, in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" I thought she was America's dream girl, and she is, but not just for her fashion. There is a whole other aspect to Audrey, her compassion for people and the world, her strength through her hardships, her poise and elegance with the media and press. Everything about Audrey, screams to me INSPIRATIONAL!!!! Bless her soul, her favourite poem, who some mistake for her writing, helped me in my darkest times, and sometimes, when I thought there was no light at the end of the tunnel, there indeed was, after reading these words;

So there you have it, truly inspirational words, which always make me think twice when I want to hate myself. It doesn't matter if your, slim, fat, curvy, hour glass, pear shaped, sticky, bony or whatever. You are woman! and YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!! No matter what anyone says, you are beautiful in every single way, and "Words can't bring us down"!!! Because we know we are better then those words!
So if your ever feeling miserable with yourself, read this poem! Print IT! Stick It in your purse, diary, car, toilet, I don't care where, but, hopefully it will help you see the Most Beautiful Person... YOU!!!
Oh and One more thing, I Love her fashion and elegance! Isn't it beautiful?!! The Lace and her little black dress gahh it so Pretty, to dream.... "I Have a Dream....."

In the Day of a life of a Curvy Chic: Curvy Fashion
In the Day of a life of a Curvy Chic: Curvy Fashion: Like most young funky Australian and international girls and women, I adore all things Fashion! I envious of all the wonderful Coach bags, Furla Purses from Italy always giving me hopes in one day too own one; along with the the many spreads of channel and Fendi in Vogue forums and magazines. I spend endless hours on the net viewing the wonderful fashions in Milan, Paris and New York, instead of completing the very overdue assignments piling up for uni.
So by now you must be thinking to yourselves, what makes you different from the rest of the fashion bloggers out there? Well I was thinking to myself, not that long ago, that although there are many wonderful fashionista's out there sharing their amazing talents of styling and creative ideas of fashions and accessories. Whilst also sharing our most recent fashion obsessions off the cat walk, I would also like to shed some light on what to expect from a life at uni, and not just in term of fashion either.
Let's face it, there are not many instruction manuals out there that really prepare or even give us a hint as to what to expect at uni. I know from experience in my first year, it is most definitely not a walk in the park, fashion and non fashion wise. I'm hopefully going to share with you some Do's and Don't 's at uni and also share some of my recent obsessions from the cat run. But another thing I should let you know, this has no size 8 skinny legs here. Its a bit hard at size 18/20 to get my fat arse to fit into some designer and look amazing. So I do the best with what I have, to still look pretty damn good in the mirror, without being a size 8.
I'm not going to lie to you, it is a hell of a lot harder for us than the size twelves, whose biggest shopping concern is that the store may be out of their size ( ahh hello try going into a store with friends knowing they don't stock your size in the first place). However, having said that, DO NOT give up hope my curvy friends. Although I know from first hand experience it may be difficult, but NOT impossible. Learn to accentuate your good points and hide the bad points, and you'll be surprised at how amazing you will look, when you see yourself in the dressing room mirror.
So thank you to the bloggers who have inspired me, to start my own! Thanks to "YFF, Fashion Hayley and Messy Carla," you guys have all amazing talent and inspire me all the time!!
